Bit_Size Intrinsic

Bit_Size(I)

Bit_Size: INTEGER function, the `KIND=' value of the type being that of argument I.

I: INTEGER; scalar.

Intrinsic groups: f90.

Description:

Returns the number of bits (integer precision plus sign bit) represented by the type for I.
