How to get there
The Cagliari airport is served by Alitalia (through Rome and Milan Linate) and by several low-cost companies. International destinations are served by Ryanair, Easyjet, Volotea, Vueling and Eurowings. A map with all the destinations and the airlines flying to Cagliari can be found here
From the airport you can take a train to
Cagliari. The train ride is less than 10 minutes and the train station
is 5-minute walk from the airport terminal (follow the signs to the
left of the arrival hall). Cagliari is the final, and often only,
stop. You can get a ticket for 1.30 euro from the vending machine in
the arrival hall, or at the end of the walkway to the train
station. The ticket has to be used on the day of purchase. Before
boarding the train, you have to validate the ticket in the green
stamping machines at the end of the walkway, or on the platform.
